Internal System Integrations

I designed and developed a scalable integration platform for East End Prints, a picture-frame dropshipping company. Built with Laravel, the system connected multiple supplier sources and third-party services with East End Prints’ BigCommerce stores and Order Desk. It also integrated Order Desk with a network of frame manufacturers responsible for production, fulfilment, and delivery.

The platform automated and streamlined the flow of product, order, and fulfilment data across the entire operation. Orders could move from the company’s online stores through Order Desk and on to the appropriate manufacturer, while production and delivery updates were returned to the relevant systems for tracking and customer service.

By reducing manual order handling and improving communication between suppliers, storefronts, fulfilment systems, and manufacturers, the integrations allowed East End Prints to focus more on growing its business and less on managing complex order flows. The solution also made it easier to introduce new products, onboard suppliers and manufacturers, monitor orders, and identify issues throughout the fulfilment process.

The system was designed with maintainability and future growth in mind. Its modular architecture made it possible to add new integrations, automation, and functionality without requiring major changes to the existing platform. This provided East End Prints with a more reliable operational foundation that could scale alongside the business.
